What's going on?

Well, I have been submitting patches for the Windows compilation. We are almost there. Jani Tiainen has also submited a patch to allow the application to run from any directory, so that will help as well.

Aside from that, I have also:
  • MS Project 98 MPP import: working on a plugin to import MS Project 98 files. Working but needs a little more work
  • SQL support: Jani and I have have been experimenting with the SQL support available on the Linux distros. It mostly works but there are some issues like resave problems and only PostgreSQL.
I will keep you posted.

New version released

Just released a new version. You can download it from:

https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=135505&package_id=148812&release_id=318410

It fixes some problems found on non English systems where Planner would lock up.

Getting ready for release

Got most of the development packages ready to release. Now I am cleaning up my changes to planner as I got lazy when I've done some of them.

I also need some space to place the files, as my personal webpage can only hold 5MB. Anyway, if you want to get ready, make sure you have have GTK+ 2.6 or later installed on your system (already required by Gaim and Gimp). You can get it from GTK+ 2.6.4

Also, libgnomeprint now has native Windows printing, although it still has a few bugs in it (depends on the printer, etc...).
